Backup Copy Job - lower retention does not delte old backups

Hello,

i have an Backup Copy Job which copys 2 Backup Jobs to another repository.
It was set to keep 7 restore points and 4 weekly points.
The storage got to low space now, and the backup stopped.

I have now changed the Job to Keep just 2 restore points and no other points.
Veeam even asked if it should delete the two GFS restore points, which i answered with yes.

Since then if have restartet the copy job several times and it has been running through several cyles.
But veeam did not delete any restore points.
What did I do wrong? All other threads say I did right.

Retention is to be implemented after the job is finished with "Success".
Did those several cycles finish successfully?

Sadly it can't finish with "Success" because there is not enough disk space for finishing with success.

Any other thing I can do?

That's why retention wasn't implemented.
You can remove GFS restore points manually and rescan the repository afterwards.
