Hi.
We have a customer which want a backup copy job on a new drive.
We have create a new backup copy job which selects on tags - but the jobs only copy the jobs after the backup copy job was created - so we don't a fullbackup of the server as a base line.
Is there any way to get Veeam to create a new first full backup of existing servers - or do we have to run a new active full backup and or create a new backup job.
Existing job have servers which should not be copied - that why we are using tags.
What will be the best solution?
Tore

Re: Backup copy job on existing backup
Hello Tore,
There is no way to modify the backup chain that has already been created but for existing backup copy jobs you can manually trigger Active Full backup via context menu.

Re: Backup copy job on existing backup
No, backup method does not affect your ability to create active full backup.
However, I'm still not sure what you're trying to achieve, so, may I ask you to describe your case in more details.
Thanks!
