Hi All
I have been running some jobs to our secondary office. Our bandwidth is limited here and so it looks like these jobs will have to be ran once a week
What I am confused about is setting the backup copy job to copy at a certain time once a week
In the manual it says Veeam Backup & Replication identifies new restore points using the following rule:
Time of restore point creation < current time – synchronization interval
If this is the case then it will not copy the latest restore point. Say I set this to run on Saturday evening through Sunday once a week. I would obviously want it to grab the restore points from Fridays backups and copy these offsite. This formula would suggest otherwise wouldnt it?
This should work I assume? Any thoughts appreciated

Re: Backup Copy Offsite
Fintan, backup copy job always copies the VM last state from the available restore points. In your case I recommend setting the copy every interval to 7 days and start the job on Saturday, the job will copy the Friday's state and sit “idle” until the next interval starts next Saturday.
