Backup file icons

Post by jcapone »

Can anyone tell me what the icons to the left of the filenames indicate? For example, the gold and green icon with arrow pointing down to the right, the grey and green icon with the arrow pointing down?

Hello John,

Can you please share a screenshot of the UI you are referring to? Thank you in advance!

I was trying that before but couldn't figure out how to attach a photo to my reply. In any case, I believe I figured it out, it appears one icon represents .vib files and one represents .vbk files. I am on the FILES screen from the Veeam GUI, then browsing backup files on our Data Domain.

Correct, this icons might also vary based on backup file location: whether it's stored on Performance or on Capacity Tier of Scale-Out Backup Repository.
