Hello,
What's the best/right way to take a backup on the main site and use it as replica seed on the remote site. The VM is about 1TB size, I tried to make replication over current wan link but it nevers finish and returns errors.
I was thinking if veeam allows me to use a external disk once to take the full backup locally , then move the disk to the remote site and somehow use that backup as replication seed?
Any help or suggestion is welcome, thanks in advance.

Re: Backup for replication seed
Yep, it's possible with Veeam. There is a pretty descriptive post regarding replica seeding; might be worth taking a look.I was thinking if veeam allows me to use a external disk once to take the full backup locally

Did the test with a smaller VM and worked like a charm. Thanks for the help!
