Hi All
Does anyone know if veeam supports using direct SAN Access can work with iscsi offload card (broadcom) and its software instead of using the Microsoft iscsi initiator to configure the read only access to the LUNS?
hope that makes sense.
thanks

Re: Backup Job Direct SAN
Hi Nick,
Assuming that SAN LUNs are visible within the Disk Management of the proxy server, then it should work.
Thanks!

Re: Backup Job Direct SAN
Hi Nick,
it totally makes sense, hardware iscsi initiator are a viable option indeed if you have network cards with that feature. The only cons I'm thinking of is the MPIO driver, not sure if broadcom also offers you this feature to improve performances.
Luca.
