Backup Job not sending email alert ?
Hi All,
After disabling one of the unused service account, in the AD.
Now the Backup job is not sending any email alert ?
But hte backup copy job is still sending email alert.
Is there any bug or problem with 9.0.0.1491 (Update 1) ?
I didn't change any email alerting setting, but somehow I still don't understand why it is not working only for the Backup job only.

Are those jobs the same in terms of notifications settings (Job settings -> Notifications)? Thanks.

Yes, all of the Backup and Backup Copy job are using the Global Settings since Veeam v7.0
However after upgarding to Veeam 9.0 Update 1 none of the backup job is sending out email anymore on any status SUssceess, Warning or even Alert ?

What about test emails? Do they pass successfully? Menu -> Options -> E-mail settings -> Test message? Thanks.

Yes it works fine.
The backup copy job is also working ok but not with the backup job in any state. Even also when I specifically set in the notification tab.

Looks unexpected, as to me. So, keep working with support engineer and, kindly, update the topic once the resolution is found. Thanks.

It seems the tier 2 support engineer also got confused as well in my case hence they now reverting to the developer for hot fix.
