Backup Job Report or Documentation?

Post by itsquared »

Hi All,

We have a new setup with several backup jobs. Is there any feature of VEEAM or V1 which reports on the backup jobs and shows a summary of repository, files backed up, etc, that I can use to document my backup infrastructure.

This might save me from making a visio....

If visio is the route to go, is anyone willing to share their VEEAM backup diagram that i can customize for my environment?

Thanks in advance to all!

Hi,
as far as I know, no automated way to design it. If you need a physical design, go for visio. If you instead need a conceptual design, look here:

I linked a cool PPT created by Tim Dewin from Veeam, who designed several deployment scenarios.

In the upcoming version of Veeam ONE (v7) there will be about 20 new backup reports that will provide a complete overview of your backups. The release is scheduled for later this year, so stay tuned!
