When backing Linux VM from one of the corrupted LUN on pure storage we are seeing that disk size is doubled on the destination backup copy how can we avoid this.
How can we copy Linux VM as it is from the corrupted LUN what are the options available.
can any one let us know on this.

Re: Backup Linux VM
Hi,
Thanks!
That is, after you back up the VM, you run a backup copy job and witness the VM backup doubling its size, is that correct? What is the backup copy job target repo?<...> we are seeing that disk size is doubled on the destination backup copy how can we avoid this.
As far as I understand, since the LUN is corrupted, the VM is not running, right? If so, then just copy VM files from there and place them on another storage. You can do it either manually, or using a file copy job.How can we copy Linux VM as it is from the corrupted LUN what are the options available.
