Hi there,
I'm looking to find the best way to backup my system but also archive backup files to an offsite repository.
Here is my setup : Veeam B&R Availability suite std.
Main site : Veeam-server used as proxy server , 1 repository
DR site : Veeam server , multiple repositories (freshly configured)
bandwith : 10 Mb
I'm actually doing backup job and storing the backups files in the Main site. And Replication jobs are running between the two sites.
Can you tell me if the best solution is to use Backup Copy jobs (as explianed on the FAQ , etc..) and configure them to copy backup files to a repository dedicated to the archives ?
Or should I create Backup Jobs with different backup mode ( like active full backup on a weekly basis ) ?
Many thanks,

Re: backup method :
Hi and welcome to the community!
You need to have backup job to make an actual backup and backup copy job to copy them offsite over WAN.
Please read this blog post with best practices.
You may also leverage Remote Replica from Backup option.
Thanks!
