Backup NAS SMB Share
We have a NAS drive used by our marketing Dept, its a lacie bignas.
How can i get veeam to do a file copy to the local backup store?
If i map the drive on the Veeam server and try and do a copy job of that drive, it just says access denied.
Any ideas?

Hello Eddie,
Please check if Veeam Service account has a permission to access the share.
Thanks.

Also have you tried specifying full UNC path to the NAS device instead of using mapped drive?

No i tried that aswell,
Ive joined the NAS to the domain now, so windows accepts my user credentials
However i still get this:
Failed to copy item '\\10.170.1.10\Design\' Error: Access is denied

Hi Eddie,
Can you add this NAS as a CIFS share (since it now accepts widows credentials) and then start your job?
Thanks!
