Hello.
I have three vmware hosts which share storage via Fibre Channel. My san switch currenty has no available ports, but i would still like to have a physical proxy server to offload my vm hosts.
The storage is able to publish the volumes via iSCSI on an ethernet port.
Is it possible to mount the volumes to the proxy via iSCSI even though the production runs via FC?
thanks, Rune

Re: Backup of FC production via iSCSI
Hi Rune and welcome to the community!
Yes, you can mount the volumes to the proxy via iSCSI Initiator in a common way.
Thanks!
