Backup one VMWare Guest with 2 seperate Veeam Servers?
Is it possible?
I have a large guest running on VMware, but at the weekend, I want to back it up off site using another Veeam Server.
In the week, the normal Primary Veeam Server will run the backup and this is locally stored, but can I run another backup against this guest?
How will the CBT know who has backed up what blocks or is it much cleverer than that?
Thanks again people,
Kevin

Re: Backup one VMWare Guest with 2 seperate Veeam Servers?
Thanks for that, just ready it as below...
Q: Will the changed block tracking "break" if I backup and replicate the same VM? Or, if I backup the same VM with different jobs, or from different backup servers, or with different backup products?
A: There will be no issues, as changed block tracking is designed to handle such usage scenarios.
All I can say is that is very clever !
Great product.
Thanks

Yes, just make sure jobs performed by different Veeam B&R instances do not overlap, to avoid possible issues.
