Hi
i know proxy server will be do below :
1-gathering data for vms that we want get backup from that
2-compress data
3-deduplication data
4-encoding data
1- but now want to know is one of the duty that backup proxy had to do manage and across backup traffic ?
2- if my veeam backup server had 2 network adapter can i use network adapter2 for across backup traffic ?

We just open a TCP connection between the proxy and the repository. If you use preferred networks we are going to try to open the TCP connection between two preferred endpoints/IP's
However, how the data is send and what network adapters are used is mainly decided by the OS / Switch configuration. So if you want to use multiple network adapters, you need to trunk them at the OS layer / Switch layer, but this is not a Veeam configuration.
