Backup & Replication V9.5 Update 2

Hi guys,

We're currently running Backup & Replication V9.5 Update 1.

I know that Update 2 has been out for a bit now and have seen a few stories of some issues and niggles with it but wondered what the opinion is of you guys if it's worth installing or not.

Most of the updates in Update 2 doesn't really effect us as we're running VMware V6.0, Exchange 2013, LTO5 etc. so it'll only be any bug fixes really for us.

Update 1 works a treat for us at the moment so I'm tempted to leave it and see what Update 3 brings ? ? ? ? ?

Any advice welcome.

Hi Jeggsy,

It's up to you but we recommend to install latest update when it’s possible. Regarding new functionality – keep in mind that latest version of Veeam Agent for Windows requires Update 2 and won’t work with older versions on Veeam B&R.

Hi guys,

Just a quick update to say that I've done it and installed the Update 2 ! !

Touch-wood, all seems OK and the install was quick and painless.

Can't see a lot of changes for what we use Veeam for but no problems either so happy days !
