Running Veeam Backup & Replication 5.0 Standard. I want to configure my backup job destination to store it on a local ESX datastore. Is that possible?
Thanks

Re: Backup to datastore
Yes, as long as it is an ESX and not an ESX datastore. When you go to the "Backup Destination" page of your job, where it says "My Computer" at the top, you can click the drop down and pick your ESX host.

Re: Backup to datastore
Possible, although considered as bad practice. There are a few existing topics going into details on why so, and what makes a better target. Thanks.
