Hi -
If we back up with Veeam to a NAS, is it possible to duplicate the files to tape somehow, witout using Backup Exec?
Any scripts or small software that can be used to copy the Veeam folder on to tape?
Kind r
Bjørn.

Re: Backup to tape
Good question. I am pretty sure I heard before there is free open-source tape backup solution for Linux... may be someone here is using it?

Re: Backup to tape
Is your veeam machine a VM or a physical machine?
If it is a VM then you can mount a NFS store from the nas to the virtual environment.
Make a vmdk to backup your veeam backups.
or
You can mount an iscsi target to a VM or a physical machine and backup to your iscsi target.
Then you can use this backup to tape software and backup your last full backups. : http://www.bacula.org/en/?page=downloads#Win32_64
