Hello,
does anyone have experience with backing up Virtual Windows Machines that are configured in a VCS/VVR cluster?
It seems snapshotting is not supported (http://www.symantec.com/connect/sites/d ... here_0.pdf) but ...
rgds.

Re: Backup Virtual VCS/VVR clustered servers
Hello! Generally, our solution relies on snapshots (as snapshot is a requirement for image-level backup of running VM with VMware) and Veeam B&R cannot backup a VM in case where snapshot of a VM is not possible. As I can see from this document, snapshots of VCS VMs are still possible in some cases, but you need to stop cluster services and all in-guest applications to make them. Have you a chance to get back from the Symantec and/or VMware regarding the backup of such VMs?
