Backup window setting for synthetic full processing
Hi,
We were thinking that synthetic full is transform operation and can be perform even outside the backup window.
The user guide also has the following description.
"The backup window affects only the data transport process and health check operations. Other transform operations can be performed on the target repository outside the backup window."

But backup job was failed by the following error.
Synthetic full backup creation failed Error: Job was stopped due to backup window setting
As we confirmed to Veeam support, they said taht synthetic full is included in the data transport process.
However, is not it a transform operation, because synthetic full is processed in the repository?
Can we change it so that synthetic processing can be performed even outside the backup window?

The OP did not include case ID, so I cannot check on the current status... so we need to either wait for him to respond, or you could open your own support case. May be support has a hot fix for this already.
