I keep getting Retrieving VM files information Failed to retrieve "SCSI (0:0) Hard disk 1" disk information. Check VM virtual hardware configuration. on certain VM's. This is a vsphere essentials with mix of ESX and ESXi.
Does veeam not support backing up thin provisioned discs? The ones that are failing are thinned provisioned.

Sure, we fully support backing up of thin provisioned disks. Please open support case for investigation.
