Hi Forum
My setup is always the same. We have an VeeamBackup Server that save the Backup to NAS (Synology). Once a Week we make a Backup to Disk that will be replaced by me or the Customer. Rotating Disks
On one side i have a problem with the BackupToDisk. There is a single Job that save 10 vm's to USB Disk. The job runs fine and send me an success. If i try to open one of the vm's with restore Guest Files everything is fine. Another VM in the same Job ends with an CRC Error. They are 10 new rotating Drives and on every Backup we hit some CRC Errors, but on different VM's.
If i connect the USB Disk directly to the Server everything can be opened.
Now im not sure i i could restore every location because the Customer change the Disk onsite.
Would Storage-level corruption Guard be help to be sure that a success is a success?
Case #05388825
regards
Rolf

Re: BackupToDisk
CRC error typically indicates issues with storage hardware: data corruption or similar. In order to confirm this assumption we need to check the debug logs and actual infrastructure, so continue your investigation with our support team.
