I was looking at the Veeam server involved, and observed the network throttling.
I can't post an image here, so I'll summarize:
It is all purple, which I understand means throttled.
Except for the hours of 6 am to 6 pm Monday-Friday, which is shown in white, which I understand is full speed.
That means traffic is always full speed during those hours and throttled during off hours??
That is, a white 'center' for 6 am to 6 pm Monday-Friday inside a 'purple border' for all the other hours.
Should it not be the other way around?? -- to throttle bandwidth during the day??
Thank you, Tom

Re: bandwidth throttling question
Right, purple means you enable throttling rules during that time, i.e. the traffic is throttled. So if you want to throttle it during working hours, you need to reverse the colors.

Re: bandwidth throttling question
I thought so...I will do this repair when the dratted backup copy job finishes.
So far as I know it has not had any ill effects, fortunately.
Thank you, Tom
