BCJ from a Catalyst store to another.

Post by jmggmgb »

Hi Team,
I have two HPE Storeonce with one catalyst store each one of them.
I have to move the Veeam backup from one catalyst store to the other.
Someone told me the just the backup perfomed after the BCJ creation will be moved to the new catalyst store but not the ones create befero the BCJ creation.
Is that true? (Case # 06122248)
Regards.
Jose Miguel.

Hello,
if you want to "move" backups, you can use the "move" functionality.

I'm not sure, why backup copy jobs are relevant here.

Best regards,

You can also use a temporary Catalyst Copy job for the migration. It likely will be faster than Move as will use a native replication engine.
