Hi
I would like to know Best practice for Veeam on Azure mail notification.
I use Veeam Backup and Replication on Azure Virtual Machine.
I would like to use e-mail notification on this VBR.
On Azure, I think there is no smtp service.
I would like to know which smtp service should I use.
Best regards
Kei.

Re: Best practice for Veeam on Azure mail notification
Hello,
you can use any SMTP service you like. Veeam has no recommendations, because every SMTP server is fine from the software point of view.
If you have Microsoft 365, then you can also use modern authentication with V12 (RTM / early access is available via support). Or you wait until V12 is GA (generally available)
Best regards,
Hannes

Re: Best practice for Veeam on Azure mail notification
Hi Hannes
Thank you for your reply and I understood.
By the way, there is Azure communication service on Azure and if possible I would like to utilize this.
However, When I send the email to Azure communication, Azure communication service only supports Restful API (not support the SMTP relay).
Is there any way to send Restful API from VBR?
Best regards
Kei.
