I'm looking to replace our tape archive with a cloud based system if the cost is feasible, but before I look at vendors I'd like to come up with an idea of how much data we actually need to purchase.
All our active full's are about 20TB and I need a full restore point every month to meet RPO's. I'm not sure how feasible this is.
What is the best way to determine our approx usage and cost requirements out of b&r?

Re: Best way to determine cost for CloudConnect?
Hi, Matt,
You can use this calculator created by our Sr. System Engineer Timothy Dewin as a good starting point.
After that, you might want to use Service Provider Lookup to find a provider meeting your expectations best.
Thanks.

Re: Best way to determine cost for CloudConnect?
Hi Matt,
We are a cloud connect service provider. If you would like help with this or a quote for implementation/opex please let me know.
I'm a Senior Engineer at SICL we also utilise dedupe and can give you estimates based on your current Full's.
It's remarkable how much data you can actually save with dedupe thus reducing cost.
If you would like to discuss further, drop me an email. Jack.firth@sicl.com
Thanks
Jack
