Better way to delete backups ?
Hi again, Im getting my Veeam sorted after a migration and I have jobs that were part of an old vCenter that I'd like to manually delete some to free space. I see this view and I tried to right click / delete but its not an option. Any other way to just remove a few restore points from a job ?

Just delete them manually and then remove missing restore points from the console.

Yeah I was going to do that but it didn't seem elegant. Could we perhaps add a feature request to right click and just delete from the screen above ?

We do not encourage people to delete backups this way actually, since there's retention for that.

that only occurs if the job is still active. In my case these jobs were retired and replaced by new jobs.

...which occurs not so often and can be worked around manually.

I'd also like to mention there is no way to highlight more then one at a time in the screenshot shown above. Right clicking and deleting hundreds of restore points isn't fun.

In case there are too many records, you can ask support for assistance, I believe there should be a database query for that.
