Seb, I suppose you're talking about Windows FLR from a Windows 2012 R2 deduplicated volume, right? So your point is that the message should also reflect Windows 2012 R2 version requirement for the backup server?

No, the message should NOT appear if the OS the is supported

Otherwise it makes no sense - why to warn about something that is OK?

My whole Hyper-V infrastructure is Server 2012 R2 only. Each & every one of the Veeam involved servers (and clients from which I was doing restore)
