Is there any issue with turning on Deduplication in my Veeam Backup Server (Windows 2012 Server as a VM) on the volume (E:) where my Veeam Catalog information is stored. I would assume a decent level from large index files of virtual machines with long retention points.
I would look to Apply deduplication to files older than 7 or maybe 14 days say for example.

Re: Can I Dedupe the Veeam Catalog disk volume?
Should be fine, also please be aware that you can store index catalog on a compressed volume.
