Hi guys,
Our backup server is running a little low on disk space as we also use the backup server as a file server for holding ISOs for deployments, and using TreeSizeFree I notice that the folder below is collecting large files in it. Is it safe to delete the update patches contained within? That would free up 4GB.
C:\Program Files\Veeam\Backup and Replication\Backup\Updates

Re: Can I delete the files in the Updates folder?
Hello,
the folder you are mentioning is required to update remote consoles. So officially it is not supported to remove that folder.
But if you don't need remote console updates, well, you need to test - your risk
Best regards,
Hannes

Re: Can I delete the files in the Updates folder?
In theory if I have Update 4b installed then I don't need the Update 4a install files, correct?

Correct, Update 4b is a cumulative update, meaning it includes all enhancements delivered as a part of Update 4a. Thanks!
