can not restore a file through enterprise manager

Hi

i want to restore a file via enterprise manager but when i select the file all of buttons are gray out and can not select for restore file
please see below pic

what is the problem?

This is possible in case backup file is already deleted from disk and is available on tape only.

my backup file exist in repository i could restore file with FLR in veeam console but could not restore that from enterprise manager

Then check if you select the correct restore point for browsing.

i have just 2 restore points full and incremental in one day
that is very strange

The one you're browsing is apparently on tape (it has the tape icon next to it), that's why restore options are not available. Feel free to contact technical support to take a look, if you're selecting the correct one.

We see the exact same thing with our backup-copy backups - also a repository located on disks and not on tape even though a tape icon is displayed. The only way we could restore from a backupCopy-job was to use the Backup and Replication Console application instead.

I will take some time to reproduce this, since it might turn out to be an issue then.

What does Backup Info show for this restore point? Anyway, it is better to contact technical support with this, could be internal mapping issue.
