Is there a reason why installing VBR community edition from an ISO mounted from a network drive will fail?
There's not enough space on guest to accomodate setup files

Re: Can't install VBR when ISO mounted from network drive
Hello Dolphin
I could start the installer from an UNC path. Did you have checked the available space on your system drive? How much space is available? There a no limitation.
You may check the issue with our customer support team (Community Edition: Support on best effort). Or just copy the ISO to the machine where you need to install Veeam Backup and Replication.
Best,
Fabian

Re: Can't install VBR when ISO mounted from network drive
Hello,
the image will mount but some errors will be thrown when the setup ends. I've read that VBR setup doesn't like installing from UNCs?

Re: Can't install VBR when ISO mounted from network drive
I did run the entire installation from an UNC path. No issues faced.
Installation worked without any error or warning at the end of the setup.
I assume you face space issues with the cumulative patch at the end of the installation procedure.
The patch will first extract itself to the machine, then make a copy of the existing installation of Veeam Backup & Replication (for rollback scenarios). Then it copies all new files to the installation folder. If patch installation was successful, extracted data and copies will be removed.
You require approximately 3x of space of the installation folder. It can take up to 10-15GB of temporary space requirements to patch your server. Make sure this space is available before you start the installation.
20 GB for the main installation and 10-15GB temporary space for the patch.
Best,
Fabian
