Can't Remove Previous 3PAR Integration

Howdy!

We moved our 3PAR array's management to a new IP address. I was able to add it into Veeam B&R's Storage Infrastructure section at its new IP, but I cannot remove the old listing. I receive this error:

"Unable to remove storage xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx because it is locked by backup process."

Has anyone encountered this before? It says this with no jobs running.

Jim,

It probably means there is somewhere a reference to the old storage in the database. Without logs I think it will be difficult to figure this one out.
Open a support call, post the case ID here and the follow up after that

Would like to know the resolution to this case/issue.

I have the same scenario.
• Want to change Management IP of 3PAR Storage System and update within Veeam
• Faced with same message as Jim when trying to remove the Storage within Veeam.

Had to reinstate the old IP address on the Storage System to let Veeam continue Storage Snapshots, for the time being until can remove cleanly.

Is there a procedure you must do to remove Storage Integration without being faced with this message.

Support helped figure out the hooks to the SQL db for it, delete them, and we were then then able to remove the old 3PAR.

Hi Stuart, you can open your own case, this would probably be faster.
