Can we run multiple backup jobs at the same time?

Post by ohmel »

Hi,

Can we setup or run multiple backup jobs at the same time (ex. 3 to 5 backup jobs) in a Veeam ( version 8 ) cloud connect user? If yes, what is the maximum backup jobs can we run per user?

Thanks.

Hi all,

I got a reply from one of the Veeam Solution Architect... At this stage cloud connect only allow one backup job per user. The workaround is creating multi-users for each customer.

The workaround is creating multi-users for each customer.
Or ask SP to provide several cloud repositories to one tenant's account which a tenant can use then simultaneously.

What's strange is, I was able to create a second service provider and second backup repository with the same credentials (which I allocated to my biggest job), but cannot create a 3rd. I may be exploiting a bug here, I'm not sure..

So, is it the very same service provider that is added twice under the very same credentials? If the tenant's account has two repositories assigned to it, there is no need to add SP twice, since two repositories should be populated during SP's registration or rescan. Thanks.
