About every other week or so, our backup jobs fail with the following error:
Cannot complete login due to an incorrect user name or password
The temporary fix is to do the following from within Veeam:
Backup Infrastructure > Managed Servers > VMWare vSphere > vCenter Servers > our-vcenterServer > right-click and select Properties
Next until Credentials screen, then click Apply ( I don't change anything; I literally just click Apply )
I then retry the backup job and it is fine and will continue to be fine for maybe a week or 2 and then the issue will recur.
I have tried re-entering credentials, but the issue still persists.
Details:
Veeam B&R: v9.5.0.1922
VMWare vSphere/vCenter: v5.5.0 ( all VMs are on this platform )
