Cannot connect to server after .net update
Hi All,
I'm running a NFR version of B&R V.10.0.1.4854, but since I installed the November 2020 .net 4.8 update (KB458207) I cannot connect to the Veeam server via console, either remotely or from the server console, nor can agents see the server. Has anyone seen anything like this or may be able to shed some light on it.

Hello
I got the same problem with the exact same version of Veeam.
Updated my Windows Server 2019 with the latest Microsoft updates and lost contact with the console.
Both locally and remote and uninstalling the updates didn't help.
Had to uninstall Veeam and install it again to get the console back.

Could you please clarify what do you mean by "cannot connect to the Veeam server via console"? Do you see some specific error?

Hello
For me it just timed out after a while after entering the credentials, saying that it could not connect.
Both local and remote.
Tried restart, restore of an old Veeam config and uninstalled the patches.
Finally I got it working after completely uninstalling Veeam and reinstalling.

@PetrM, as I said in my original post, I'm using an NFR version of B&R, so posting here is appropriate
@Rydqvist Thanks for the heads up doing a repair install of B&R did the trick. Installed the update, could not connect, repair install of B&R, back to normal.

However, please keep in mind that the best way to resolve any error is to contact our support team and to provide us with a support case ID, as requested when you click New Topic. Probably, there would be an easier fix than to re-install or repair Veeam Backup & Replication. Technical support will be provided on a best-effort basis for customers using free products.
