Again, Hi all,
I try restore a mail from backup with "Veeam Explorer for MS Exchange" but i dont i see the tool from directly from "Veeam Backup & Replitacation " as shown in this video:
http://www.veeam.com/es-lat/microsoft-e ... overy.html
In my app " Veeam Backup & Replication" dont have the option but i have the tool install
here I have the tool installed but do not open it from the Veeam, I open it manually. When you open it so I have no way of seeing the .edb
The other question is know why when I open the application "Veeam Explorer for MS Exchange" appears the message that is restoring the backup
Thanks!

Nicolas, do you have application-aware processing enabled on the backup job?

Yes,
you need application-aware backup of your Exchange server to be able to automatically extract the DB from it.

To restore items from Exchange 2003, you need to use Exchange AIR, currently available through support.

Exchange 2003 is not supported by Veeam Explorer for Exchange (or by Microsoft themselves, for that matter). Thanks!

Hi, Nicolas, the best option you have is to use Instant VM Recovery in conjunction with Outlook client. Start your Exchange from the required backup file (Instant VM Recovery), then, connect to it through Outlook client, and copy necessary items into PST file. After that, this file should be imported into production Exchange, again via Outlook.
Thanks.
