hi forum,
we are considering switching our first repository from windows to linux ( backup jobs ) to a Normal linux repository (Rhel)
We are currently running veeam 12.3
First i have installed it for testing with rhel 10, been testing with test data - no problem - but ive noticed looks like veeam 12.3 only supports rhel 9.6.
Anyone know ifs better to reinstall with rhel 9.6 prior to start begin using a new repository?
Im tempted but i dont want to use rhel 10 if its not supported (we are planning to go v 13 but not before end q1/start q2 in 26.

Re: Case: #03436719 OS for Reppository
Hi, since ultimately you want to be on Veeam Infrastructure Appliance which required V13, I recommend deploying the hardened repository using the managed hardened repository V2 ISO now for simple in-place upgrade to VIA once you are on V13. Thanks
P.S. You don't need to include a support case ID to ask questions about the product, it's only required for technical issues.

Hi Gostev,
thing is, - we already have hardend repository in place with immutability (Copy jobs - offsite) - but isent it just a bit more troublesome also adding that to the backup jobs?
We tried it - but some thing just dont work properly (unless im missing something - which could be the deal)
But whats your thought here? double immutability isent that just asking for more issues? or is there a way to not end up with 2 timmutability.

Sorry I don't follow what you are saying about double immutability.
If something things don't work as expected then just open a support case and they will help you out.
