Case no:00466456- Target proxy goes offline

Post by zak2011 »

I had an issue earlier that there used to be frequent packet losses with both the target proxies and the replica job failing.
I changed the proxy mode to network, updated the VM hardware to v9 and used E1000 NICs. Ever since then..there is no packet drop.
Also patch2 is installed.
However ever since then...
After the replication job starts, one of the target proxies shows unavailable in the Veeam console. However I am able to ping to it from the Veeam server without any packet loss.
I have to rescan the proxy everytime this happens.
Any clues?

Thanks

I think I know what this could be, but need to confirm with the devs on Monday.

Is it always the same proxy that is misbehaving? The stuff I was thinking about is irrelevant to this, and no one can seem to recall seeing this issue before, so the only option here is to perform the debug log review with support.

Thats right. It is the same proxy that is misbehaving. I will check up with the support again on this.
Thanks for your help and support, Gostev.
