I have CBT option enabled, however the realtime statistics shows "HOTADD/NBD without changed block tracking". Its a Server 2003 VM with V7 hardware and the initial backup has already been performed.
After some initial digging it looks like CBT only works when using the vStorage API. Does this exclude VA mode? Does VA mode not use the vStorage API?

RGS

Re: CBT with VA mode?
Hello Richard,
In any vStorage API mode (SAN/Virtual Appliance/Network) CBT is supported, please make sure you meet all the requirement for Change Block Tracking to work: http://www.veeam.com/forums/viewtopic.p ... lock#p8858
If all the requirements are met, please refer to our support team for assistance. Thanks!

Re: CBT with VA mode?
CBT is only used when virtual disks are processed. May be you saw this message when some other VM files were backed up?
