Hello Everyone,
In Veeam version 12, how can i move the copy job to another repository?
In version 11, i did:
- Disabled Copy Job
- Copy files from on repository to another repository
- After Copy files finished, i did a rescan on the new repository, that i copied files
- Changed the new repository on the Copy Job
- Started Copy Job and run successfully.
The question: on the version 12, keep the same procedure?
Thanks
Fernando S.

Re: Change "Copy Job" Veeam 12 Repository
Or i can copy the files (Migrate Copy Job) without having to stop the Copy Job.

Re: Change "Copy Job" Veeam 12 Repository
Hello Fernando
Moving backups to another repository is now (starting with v12) build in the backup console UI:
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=120
This method will allow you to move the backups FastClone aware to repositories which support it. But the job has to be stopped. You can‘t move backup chains while you leave a job running.
Best,
Fabian
