Hi there,
I'm wondering how I can change retention on a single backup. For instance, if one of my DBAs is retiring a particular database on a SQL server, we generally will want to keep that backup for 3 years. Is there a way I can go to that daily backup and change the retention on JUST that backup to 3 years vs the normal daily of 5 days? Similar to a legal hold on a single backup I guess. We're running VBR11a if that matter. Thanks!

Re: Change retention on one backup (Legal Hold?)
Hi Ian
You can't change the retention of a restore point.
But you can export a chosen restore point and set the retention for the exported backup file:
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... ml?ver=110
If you export the restore point on a hardened repo, it will be immutable for the entire retention period:
https://helpcenter.veeam.com/docs/backu ... -scenarios
Thanks
Fabian
