Change TCP port for a Linux VM

Post by ssandoz »

Hi!

I need to backup a Linux VM that uses another port than 22 for TCP coms.
At the moment, the backup job fails because the VM refuses the communication.

Is it possible to assign another port number for a single VM that is part of a backup job that contains multiple VMs (the other VMs can use port 22)?

Thanks in advance for your support.

Hello,
the port configuration is in the credential settings of the user that is used for application aware processing. The user can be changed for each machine (see screenshot below)

Without application aware processing, no port is needed.
