Changes per VM per day

Post by CvBarney »

Is it possible to view the changes (in MB/GB) per VM per day? I can find this for the whole backup job (data size/backup size) but not for a specific VM in the job.
Is there also a solution to report this metrics? For example: when several customers are in the same backup job and you want to charge them by used data size.

Thanks!

It is impossible to view these details in the current version, but the next version will provide this data.

Thanks.

Hi Foggy,

Thanks but no thanks. I'm looking forward for v6 so we can solve this issue!

Viewing the amount of changed data per VM?

Post by paulhardy »

[merged]

Is their anyway of viewing the amount of changed data per virtual machine? i'm looking at a backup job thats generating a large than expected incremental and would like to narrow it down to the worst offenders within the backup job :)

Paul, currently such information is not available but v6 will provide the amount of changed data both in real-time statistics and in job report. Thanks.
