Changing default Log location

Post by larsen87 »

Hello @all,

I'am Using Veeam Backup 9.0.0.1491 and we save our Backups on an QNAP mounted as an Linux reposetory.
My problem is, Veeam save the logs on /var/log/VeeamBackup my freespace is only a few MB.
Veeam told me, to post my problem here because changing default log location is currently not implemented.

So perhaps anybody can help?

Thank's a lot
Lars

Hi Lars,

Maybe you can possibly redirect that location to another folder via 3rd party script?

Thanks!

Maybe even make that a mount point that mounts some other NFS/SMB share into /var/log/VeeamBackup?

Now i have added a symlink in /var/Backup called VeeamBackup with path /share/Backup/Logs..
I hope it worked.

A simple "df -h" should reveal the available space on all mounted filesystems and verify if your symlink is configured properly or not.
