Choose right Backup Job?

Hi at all.

I have installed for testing purpose Veeam Backup and Replication 6 for VMware and HyperV.

I want to backup some testing machines with a full backup only on Saturday to disks on the backup server.
On the next Backup Job with Arcserve on Monday I want to backup the folder with the Veeam backup files to Tape.

Which job settings would be the correct ones?

I have chosen under "storage-advanced" reversed invremental.
Would be this the right setting for my purpose?

Note: When I choose that the job should only run on sunday, the "next-run" shows always saturday.
But the job runs on saturday and sunday. Did I made a misconfiguration?

Yes.

The topic you linked exactly solved my problem.
I removed the marked "Enable syntehitc fulls" of the already disabled job.
And after that chose again "reversed incremental" and now the backup show sunday, as it should show when I chose sunday.

I forgot to ask something in my thread.

Would it be correct to use in my case following setting:

Retention policy - Restore Points to keep on disk = 1

As I understood this right, there should be always one full backup file which I can backup with Arcserve to Tape. Correct?
