Clean VeeamBackupReporting database after update(s)
Hi,
As I am looking at the Veeam Backup SQL Server Database, I found that there are tables named dbo.65.... , anbd dbo.70.* in the VeeamBackupReporting database. (My server is now in v8).
Are these data still used ? Should these table be removed ?
Regards,
Julien

Julien, generally we do not support direct interaction with Veeam B&R configuration database, though you can ask assistance of our technical support, if cleanup is required.

P.S. Can I ask you why you want to remove the said databases? I’d better leave them, since all the SQL manipulations could harm you production setup, but, of course, if these db utilize to much space, I can check with QA department if its safe to drop it.

Re: Clean VeeamBackupReporting database after update(s)
As I am investigating performances issues with this DB (massive writes on tempdb), I found that the DB size is about 5,7GB. And as the maximum size for SQL Server Express 2008 is 8GB, I think that the size can become a problem soon...

Here's another existing thread regarding similar issue. Though, I still recommend contacting support with this.

Already saw this thread and tried the cleaning SQL request. I will open a case.
