Clearing / Reducing SQL Express B&R 9.0

We are using Backup & Replication 9.0
We have reached the 10GB limit of SQL Express, one table Backup.Model.BackupTaskSessionsProgress is at 6GB, some of the entries go back to 2016

What are the safe options for reducing the size of this table/database?

Would we risk losing the ability to restore?

Any suggestions would be much appreciated

Hi Alan, what session history retention settings do you have? It would make sense to specify some shorter period.

We have 100 sessions and 12 weeks, given that it is used daily I am at a loss to understand why we have records (84m) dating back to the installation mid 2016.

Looks like retention didn't work properly somewhere in the past. I recommend contacting support for a closer look and assistance on cleaning up the database.
