Client error: The network path was not found.
We demoted a domain controller this past weekend but it has has not been the primary controller since we purchased Veeam. Since demoting and turning it off, our backups have not ran. I thought it might have been a problem with DNS on the backup NAS so I made sure it was specified what domain controller to look for. I rebooted it and backups still will not start. Most common error is this: 6/15/2014 6:02:19 PM :: Processing 'services01' Error: Client error: The network path was not found. . . Agent failed to process method {Stg.OpenReadWrite}. This happens on all three of our backups. I've rescanned the depository in hopes that may be it and nothing. I am sure it has something to do with our demotion but I had a healthy AD and DNS before this. Any suggestions to help get the backups going again?

Brian, could you please describe your setup in a bit more detail? Is there a chance that the demoted server has been assigned a proxy server role within Veeam B&R?

This is resolved. I had to re-enter my login credentials for the backup NAS (CIFS share)...bam! Working...
