It appears that if the Veeam console window is closed while there are active replication jobs, these replication jobs fail and get stuck.
This seems like bizare behavior. Don't these replication jobs run as a background service?

Re: Close console window = frozen backup job
Hi Ben, yes all scheduled jobs run as background service and do not depend on UI application. Are you talking about scheduled job, or job that you start interactively from UI? There are some architectural differences in the current version, the job starts differently when run interactively.

Re: Close console window = frozen backup job
Hi Gostev,
I believe I was wrong.
Closing the console does not freeze jobs that were started in interactive mode, however logging off the server does.
So, if a scheduled job is running, it will run no matter what?

Re: Close console window = frozen backup job
Hi Ben, yes - I've just verified and logging off terminates the jobs that were started interactively from corresponding user session (this is resolved in version 4.0). Scheduled jobs are not affected by this issue, they will run no matter what.
