Cloud Connect Copy Jobs is best to have one big job or number of small jobs

Hi All,

We are trying to get our Cloud connect copy jobs under hand, we have about 6 jobs on the go all with different number of Backups of Servers being uploaded some are fair size and other are near 800GB mark so was wondering is best to have one big job running over few days or number of small jobs running within a day?

Hey there Matthew and welcome to the forums.

It really depends on the change rates of those jobs... what are you seeing at the moment?

Also, my personal preference based on what I saw when I was in my previous role at a VCSP that offered Cloud Connect Backup was that per-vm based smaller jobs where always a better option for tenants sending jobs through.

Hey Anthony,

The rates starting at 5 MB/s on some jobs some other are getting higher rates like 24 to 36 MB/s we do have limit set of 200Mbps in the network Traffic rules to keep the network team happy.

The amount data transferred is from 3.3GB to 575GB
